Sandalwood and vetiver — known as khus in India — have been at the heart of Ayurvedic skincare and South Asian perfumery for over three thousand years. This bar is built around that heritage, not as a trend, but as a genuine expression of two of nature's most powerful skin and wellness ingredients.

Sandalwood essential oil is more than a scent. Its active compound, alpha-santalol, is clinically studied for anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial action — it calms breakouts, reduces redness, and supports the skin's natural healing process. Vetiver — known as "the oil of tranquility" in Ayurvedic tradition — grounds the nervous system through aromatherapy while toning and tightening pores on the skin. Together, they work on you from the outside in.

Beneath the botanicals, activated charcoal does the deep work. Its vast porous surface area acts like a magnet inside pores — drawing out toxins, bacteria, excess sebum, and environmental pollution that daily cleansers miss entirely. Kaolin clay follows, balancing and polishing at the surface without stripping. Kokum butter — one of Ayurveda's most prized skin-healing fats — rebuilds the moisture barrier after every cleanse, absorbing cleanly and leaving no greasy residue behind.
