Each bar is made by the traditional cold process method, in small batches. Cold pressed castor oil, coconut oil and rice bran oil are saponified to create a creamy, lasting lather, while kokum butter adds a firm, conditioning quality and cow milk contributes a soft, mild lather. Organic turmeric powder gives the bar its golden colour and earthy character, and organic besan (gram flour) adds a soft, gentle texture. Sea salt helps harden the bar.

The fragrance is a warm, herbal-woody blend of lavender, cedarwood, palmarosa and fennel essential oils, with no synthetic perfume.

Cold process soap retains its natural glycerin, which helps skin feel soft rather than tight or stripped after washing. Every bar is cured for weeks so it’s mild, hard and long-lasting.

How to Use

1. Wet the soap and your skin with water.
2. Lather between your hands or with a washcloth or loofah, and massage gently over your body.
3. Rinse thoroughly with water.
4. Place the soap on a draining soap dish and let it dry between uses to make it last longer.

Tip: Rinse well after use. Turmeric can leave a light yellow residue on white towels, washcloths or tubs.

• For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse with water.
• Contains dairy (cow milk), besan (chickpea) and coconut, plus essential oils. Not suitable for anyone with a milk, chickpea or legume allergy, or sensitivity to these ingredients or to fragrance.
• Turmeric is a natural dye and can temporarily tint skin, nails, fabrics and light-coloured surfaces. Rinse well.
• Do a patch test before first use. Stop using it if irritation occurs.
• If you are pregnant or nursing, or have a medical condition, check with your doctor before using products containing essential oils. Not recommended for use on young children without medical advice.
